CLIENT/PRACTITIONER EXPECTATIONS The first session begins
with a health history. You will be asked a series of questions. Everything communicated is held completely confidential.
The client's privacy is always respected. Clients may leave undergarments on during the massage or treatment session
if desired.
Hot oil is used during your massage to break friction and keep the rub smooth. The oil may be left
on your skin or we offer a hot towel wipe down.
During the sessions, clients are encouraged to relax and communicate
to inform the therapist if anything makes them feel uncomfortable, either physically or psychologically.
Some soreness
may occur after a massage. As a precaution, try not to eat before the session if extensive work is needed on the lower back.
Drinking lots of water after a session decreases soreness significantly.
